About me
My name is Jada and I was born and raised in New Jersey. I am the second oldest of 7 children. As a child, I loved being outdoors. I’ve played softball and basketball the majority of my life. Outside of sports, I loved to hike and go fishing with my dad. Also, I loved reading, relaxing, and baking. Currently, I am taking some time to save up for school in hopes of becoming an occupational therapist. Becoming an occupational therapist is important to me because enjoy helping children with their developmental growth. Working on fine motor skills, sensory processing, and self regulation are some of the things I like to implement as a nanny.
I have been working with children since I was 15 years old and I've loved every minute of it. I started off working for family and then working with family friends. Over the past 8 years, I've worked with children ages 7 months to 12 years. One of my most memorable positions was with two wonderful toddlers. There was never a dull moment with them. Our favorite activities consisted of arts and crafts, baking, water play, and outdoor play. My daily responsibilities included, meal prep, light housekeeping, creating fun and educational activities, diaper changing, and more.
My patience, genuine love, and understanding of children is what makes me a unique nanny. I would say I am a very energetic, caring, reliable, outgoing, and a patient person. In my spare time, I love to travel, bake, read, enjoy activities like (bowling, movies, , etc). There has never been a time where I have been in the company of a child/children and not had a blast. Caring for children just comes naturally to me.
