About me

I grew up in In Indiana the 3rd oldest child of 9 siblings. I always enjoyed being outside running and playing in my backyard. I love to sing and have a nice melodious voice! I kept my younger siblings entertained by reading, singing, and playing with them outside, and telling stories that I made up. My mom had a daycare service in our home and that's where I learned at age 13 to change diapers, and feed babies their bottles.

After graduating from high school I worked in daycare as a Teacher's Aid with children ages 2-4 I enjoyed it very much seeing the children learn, play, and make friends. Later I decided to become an East Cost Nanny Morristown NJ. I was a live-in for an adorable little girl who was 3. I was very devoted to her. I drove her to and from preschool, made her breakfast lunch, and dinner, dressed her, gave her a bath and played games with her, and put her to bed. It was amazing! I loved it so much being a Nanny would become my profession for the next 28 years. It has been very rewarding. In 2014 I decided to join Sittercity. It amazed me how many responses I received from families when they looked at my profile. I actually earned 5-star reviews! I have been a part-time babysitter, full-time Nanny, date night sitter, occasional sitter. I also have experience with special needs.

I'm an energetic person who loves to see children happy and having fun! I am a great communicator with both parents and children. I'm patient, adaptable, and kind! I can turn a sad face into a happy smiling face by singing or playing peekaboo. I am creative, especially with art. I love to engage children in playtime sports and outdoor activities. I feel it's very healthy to be outside and enjoy little things like collecting rocks, picking a flower, and giving it to your Mom or Nanny, counting how fast you can run, hide and seek. Those make childhood so fun and memories that will last a lifetime. I feel the greatest thing is to hear laughter from a child. It's truly a delight to see them happy and content. It's always good to listen to children and hear what they have to say before making some decisions. I am very respectful, responsible, punctual, and loving.

Exercise, dance, reading, math, writing art, learning shapes letters colors. How to explain themselves when they want something or need something. Manners like please and thank you. Soccer, baseball, basketball. How to talk about their feelings, ask questions, and if they have or had a bad day to tell them it's okay and assure them everything will be just fine.
