About me

I spent most of my childhood in Grenada which is where my parents are from and in Brooklyn. I have four siblings and I’m a middle child. As a child I was very active so I enjoyed sports, especially volley ball, puzzles, drawing and music. I graduated from Interboro Institute with an Associate Degree in Business Management. After graduating I had a few administrative positions and decided to apply for a position as a camp counselor and realized how much I enjoyed working with children.
I have been working with children for a total 20 years from ages 3-12 years old. As a babysitter my responsibilities would include homework help, school pickup or drop off if needed, date nights, meal prep, showers, scheduling play dates. Aside from part time babysitting I was also a counselor for summer and after school programs, on-call day care assistant teacher, and after school class instructor. I also have experience working with an infant who was 7 months old until she was a year. My responsibilities were making sure she had a warm bottle of milk, strolls to the park, preparing lunch and diaper changes. In childcare my responsibilities include homework help, school pick up or drop off if needed, meal prep, bedtime prep, laundry and scheduling play dates. Most of my experience are with children ages 6-10 with two to three children in the household.
When I’m not babysitting I love anything art based including museums, galleries, music, film, arts and crafts, photography etc. These are some of the things that motivate me the most and I try to share those experiences and make them fun for the children.
