About me

Hi! My name is Neringa and I am seeking a caretaker position to assist you, your family, and of course your little ones. I was born in Lithuania and journeyed over to America when I was 4 years old so I have a unique cultural influence throughout my life. I received my first degree in biology from Boston College and just recently graduated from NYU's nursing program. I have always had a passion for caring for others, whether that be for my patients or families with children of all ages. I am CPR and first-aid certified with experience in non-critical and emergency pediatrics from my clinical rotations. I have been babysitting/nannying since I was 16 and quickly found my passion for childcare throughout this experience. I have experience working with newborn infants (<1 month) up to pre-teen years, and just recently had my little niece born who continues to keep me on my toes!

I have experience in bottle feeding, diaper changes, playtime, meal prepping, housework/cleaning, transportation (with a 100% clean driving record), bathing + changing, bedtime routines, homework assistance, and whatever else you and your family may require. I believe that every family has their own unique needs and I am here to anticipate whatever I can do to seamlessly transition into your routines and family relationships.

I think professional childcare should be taken seriously as it involves adding an additional person to a child's critical developmental years. Nannies, alongside the family members, help shape the next generation by instilling values, mutual respect, and appropriate morals that follow the children throughout their lives.
