About me
Good day to you. I am Vangie and I am a dedicated childcare practitioner.
I grew up in the Philippines with 3 siblings. I took up BS Accountancy major in Management at the Philippine School of Business and Arts. I worked in National Bookstore, a company that owns a chain of bookstores, as a Billing Analyst for ___ years. Back then, my hobbies were reading books, watching movies, dancing and singing.
As of today, I have 4 years experience as a nanny / babysitter. I also worked as a part-time Teacher Assistant in one of the public schools in Manhattan. My longest childcare experience is when I started taking care of a 16-month old baby until he was 3 years and 2 months old. My responsibilities include preparing the child's food, cleaning and change of clothes, bringing him to and from classes, playdates or other out-of-home activities and generally be with him and take care of him from the moment he wakes up until he goes to sleep at night. My love for children stem from my being a natural nurturer and lover of life. I believe that all children deserve to be given love and affection in all possible ways to help them grow to their full potential. I have two children back in the Philippines who I cared for while I was a working mom.
In the last 4years, I have taken care of children of different ages. I put my whole heart in taking care of children as I don't consider it work and treat them as I would treat my own kids. I am patient, punctual, reliable, well-organized and I always make sure that the child is happy, safe and comfortable everyday.
