About me

Hello! Amber here. Jill of all trades! I’m a 38 years young gal who grew up all over the US, moving every 3 years, and landed in NYC 18 years ago to pursue theater. I love to sing, be in nature, shop, clean(what?), listen to my queen Ella Fitzgerald, and spend time with my nieces. I’m the older sister in my family, so I was groomed for childcare. HA! I live in Queens with my boyfriend, and dog Nugget.

I am CPR certified and have extensive experience with all ages including newborns, all the way up to chaperoning teenagers. I absolutely love babies and children in general, and have a great intuition for people and how their homes or families work. I can stand strong, but I can chameleon myself, all while anticipating you and your children’s needs. It’s your household and child and it should be done your way!

Some previous responsibilities included vacation nannying, cleaning, cooking for or with children, newborn care, grocery shopping, etc. I’m a very ‘home and family’ type person, so I naturally gravitate toward nesting and caring for the household/children. It’s a beautiful and honorable job!

I have also taught voice lessons to children age 5-16. I love to share the gift of music, and use it to inspire! As Stephen Sondheim said-“Children and Art”. The most worthwhile things!
