About me

Hi, I'm Angelina! I'm currently a student in the Honor's College at Pace University in Manhattan. I'm originally from Scranton, Pennsylvania, and just moved to NYC in September.
  Aside from being a student, I'm also a small business owner. In November 2020, I created a print-on-demand business that sells pop-culture-inspired clothing. Thankfully, I've had great success with my business so far and have garnered a social media following of over 10,000 people and six-figures in sales! I'm very proud of this, and it has taught me so many valuable skills that I use every day. I learned the value of hard work, patience, and dependability through starting my business and I like to implement these values in my childcare as well.
  Aside from loving entrepreneurship, I also love working as a babysitter! I began regularly babysitting in 2017 for a family with a wonderful four-year-old girl. I stayed with that family for four years until I had to move away for college. I even had the opportunity to go on vacation with the family one time! I'm still in contact with them, and it's been the most fulfilling experience to watch their child grow and to have had the opportunity to make a positive impact on her. I also spent two years babysitting a two-year-old boy and a four-year-old girl which was another extremely fulfilling experience. Lastly, I was lucky enough to have had a wonderful baby cousin be born in March 2020. I babysit him as much as I can and have loved seeing him grow.
  My goal with children is always to make them feel heard and appreciated. I love developing a bond with a child and having them view me as a friend coming over for a playdate rather than a strict babysitter. I also love playing hands-on with children and finding new creative and educational ways to play. I think it is essential in childcare to treat a child like an actual person with their own thoughts, ideas, and emotions. I don't believe in talking down to children, and I do my best to be understanding and help them talk through any emotion they may be feeling. All in all, I pride myself on being a kind, dependable, and engaging babysitter!
