About me

Hi, I'm Angelina! I graduated Summa Cum Laude from Pace University's Honor's College with a double major in Digital Marketing and Entrepreneurship and a minor in Finance. I have a passion for working with children and enjoy to do so in my free-time.

I started babysitting in my hometown of Scranton, PA when I was 13, and became a part of Smart Sitting when I moved to New York City in 2021! With over eight years of professional experience, I am comfortable with all age ranges, with a soft spot for toddlers.

My goal with children is always to make them feel heard and appreciated. I love developing a bond with a child and having them view me as a friend coming over for a playdate rather than a strict and un-relatable babysitter. I also love playing hands-on with children and finding new creative and educational ways to engage. I think it is essential in childcare to treat a child like an actual person with their own thoughts, ideas, and emotions. I believe in a firm, but gentle and nurturing approach. I don't believe in talking down to children, and I do my best to be understanding and help them talk through any emotion they may be feeling. All in all, I pride myself on being a kind, dependable, and engaging babysitter!
