About me

Hello,

My name is Greiny Rodriguez and I was born and raised in the South Bronx. I attended school in the Upper West Side of Manhattan from elementary to high school. I continued my education in SUNY Geneseo where I obtained my Bachelor of Arts in Sociology in December 2019. Shortly after, I pursued my Masters of Social Work at Columbia University which I obtained in May 2021. I am currently a social worker for agency that works on reuniting unaccompanied minors that have been separated from their parents while crossing the border. I conduct therapeutic sessions with these minors and assist them with any feelings of anxiety or sorrow they may have related to their experiences or traumatic past. I have a passion for working with children and believe they are our future. Therefore, I have decided to continue babysitting and being a nanny as a have in the past as this brought me great joy. Working with children is a blessing and they are so bright and deserve patience and care.
