About me

Hi,
My name is Hope Easterbrook, I was born in Goshen, New York. A small farm town only an hour and a half upstate from NYC. I have two siblings, and I am the youngest of the 3. As a child and now adult I enjoy art, but more specifically dance. It is my passion and love, and my new career! I have been on many stages and productions of theater throughout my life. I also love sharing my gifts with others. I am an educator as well as a performer and I work very closely with young artists developing their craft. I have had to teach up to 15-20 kids at a time at studios in NYC like Steps on Broadway and The Alvin Ailey School.
I started babysitting when I was 15. The child was an infant and it was a 9-week summer job.
I didn't know I would love it so much, but it ended up being a highlight to my summer getting to watch this child. I would feed and change her throughout the day as her mom would be in the dance studio rehearsing with the child's father. Quite a lot of responsibility for a 15-year-old but I knew I could do it!
Throughout college (Marymount Manhattan) I worked as a part-time babysitter for different families within the dance community that needed care.
Growing up in the theater and dance community I always was surrounded by young artists with many different needs. I have a passion for giving back to people that need help, so I started a nonprofit called Dance4Hope, where we give classes to underserved youth.
Serving young people is my passion. I can't wait to see what is next!
