About me

I grew up in Detroit Michigan with 10 other siblings. I loved so much as a child in my upbringing that my parents had love and caring values as a family. I graduated from high school in 1973. I attended several colleges through my journey in Early Childhood Education but I do not have a degree. Since 2010 after I graduated from Northwest Nanny Training School in Portland, OR. I have cared for infants, toddlers, and school-age children for 10 years. My responsibilities were: 2011, boy, 11 months old then 3 years later, had another newborn boy. With both children, same things, potty training, bottle feeding, sterilization of bottles, baths, changes, clothing, hygiene (teeth), diaper change, breakfast, lunch, snacks, dinner, transport to Montessori school activities. Art/crafts storybook reading house-whole chores laundry change bedding organized children room closet playroom and traveling with family. I left in the summer of 2018. I returned in April 2019 to 3rd child born (girl) stayed until summer 2019. My infant experience is 1 boy and 2 girls, changing of diapers, bottle feeding, sterilization of bottles and breast pump, making infant formula bathing clothing baby laundry clean diaper hamper organized baby room monitor baby sleeping, keeping a log of infant day for parents. Children change of solid ( baby jar foods) organic food homemade foods when parents permit at usually age 6 months and up. Titles I experienced are live-in nanny, mother's helper, afterschool care sitter, and night/overnight weekend stay. I love to read, power walk, gardening, bike ride swim, and Yard sales.
