About me

Hello! I was born and raised in Manhattan of New York City. I am the third of 4 children and from a young age, my parents knew I was special and decided to take me to an interview at the Ethical Culture Fieldston school at age 4. I was accepted into Ethical Culture as the first of my family to attend private school and found a new place to call home. I enjoyed singing, theater and performing at school. After high school, I went on to graduate from Lafayette College where I received my Bachelor's of arts degree in Sociology with a minor in psychology. During college, I spent time volunteering at a non-profit organization for kids in the neighboring community where we mentored & tutored the children (ages 4-12).

Since 16, all of my professional experience have been in childcare and I've found most joy in working with children by either nannying or tutoring them. As an aunt of 5 and older sister, I've had my fair share of childcare experience in and outside my home.

At age 18, I started working as a camp counselor for Fieldston Sports Camp. I was a lead counselor at the camp for 4 summers and was in charge of a group of 16-20 preschoolers. After college is when I started to nanny professionally. The past 7+ years, I have been a part-time and full-time Nanny to about 4+ families. My previous job ended in June 2021 after 6 years together. The position ended because both boys (now 14 & 16) went away to boarding school and the family is relocating out of NYC. With my previous family, I was their nanny as well as dog walker/trainer. I spent the mornings taking care of the dog and afternoons taking care of the boys by assisting them with homework and their time management. I was also in charge of making dinner daily for the boys and taking them to/from various appointments. Eventually, my job evolved and I became an additional family member. While they were on vacation, I would take care of their pets and house sit. I have also went on vacation with a previous family (children aged 3 & 5) that I worked for.
