About me

I was born on the beautiful island of Trinidad where I spent most of my childhood. At the age of 12, I moved with my family to the United States and lived in Brooklyn New York ever since. Growing up I’ve always enjoyed dancing, swimming, reading, and baking. Throughout high school I was in many different clubs and youth groups, some of which I lead to this day. I have always found joy in working and being with children and decided to pursue a degree in Early Childhood education. In the middle of my studies, I landed a job working in a pre-school and would also babysit for several families. I also studied baby nursing and that boosted me right into my nanny career.
My first job as a professional nanny l, started as a baby nurse for twins, a job that was supposed to last for 6 weeks, lasted almost 6 years. I have been a full-time Professional nanny, baby nurse, and household manager for the past 13 years working in NYC, Hamptons, and San Francisco. And enjoyed every moment of it. I have a great amount of experience caring for twins, premature babies, infants, toddlers, and school-aged kids. I am also well experienced and comfortable with things such as handling breast milk, formula, cooking healthy organic foods, potty, bathing, age-appropriate activities, making sure and challenging each child to reach their age-appropriate milestones, arranging play dates, classes, special needs children, preparing for preschool, homework, and much more. I am a strong believer in teaching good manners and behavior. As a household manager, I have managed grocery shopping, Amazon orders, household inventory, appointments, classes, calendars, birthday parties, vacation planning and so much more.
I believe that each kid is a rising Star and is unique and special in their own way. As a nanny I strive to help children kid keep a positive mindset, helping them explore and be creating, and being the best that they can be. I do this with patience, land a whole lot of love. Each child has their own superhero power that will allow them to have a brighter future. I truly love and enjoy being a nanny.
