About me

Hello! My name is Caroline Vette, and I am a graduate from Florida Southern College with a BFA in Musical Theatre and minor in Music, Summa Cum Laude. I grew up with two older brothers who both have special needs and have worked with children with special needs. (can elaborate if needed) Growing up I loved to dress up, play pretend, and play with my friends whenever I could! I also took ice skating and ballet and loved nothing more but to go to class and let my performative side shine. I am a certified Lifeguard through American Red Cross, which means I am CPR/AED Certified as well as First Aid Certified. I also know how to use an EpiPen. I’d be happy to offer references! I took a babysitting class when I first started off, and since have looked after many different types of children ranging from infants to elementary school aged children. I also have professional experience caring for the elderly and have 3 dogs and one rabbit of my own, so I love animals! I have also worked as Disney Princesses for children's birthday parties and have been a camp counselor for children, so having fun and creating activities is a normal thing for me to do. The last family I worked with had 3 boys and since I worked with them for a year and a half I got to watch them grow and help them with many different aspects of their lives as they continued to grow up! After working with different families for a long time, I've been able to see how much I have impacted the children and how much I can learn from them. I have worked with so many different kinds of families that I am constantly obtaining new skills and seeing how different children operate. I am FULLY COVID-19 VACCINATED and have a booster shot and bivalent booster, but am always willing to wear a mask. I am finishing with my current family and am excited to look for new opportunities!

In 5 years, I hope to be...

Taking one day at a time. It's what I do now, because I never try to limit myself. The world is full of possibilities, and I can be whoever I want to be as long as I am kind. So I think I can be doing anything in 5 years, whether it's performing on a cruise ship, being on Broadway, going into my fourth year of nannying for a caring family, marrying the love of my life, or eating chocolate in Switzerland, I don' know, but I'd be happy with anyone of those things because I'm taking one day at a time.

Activities & skills I love to teach & share with children...

I love teaching kids to stay open minded and kind. I think it's important because it's easier to teach them while their brains are still developing and they get used to seeing the world in a more open minded way and that way when they are grown up and make their own choice, good choices and kindness are already second nature.
