About me

Hello, my name is Keyondra everyone calls me Kiki, I have always loved working with kids I have been since I was 15. Most recently I was/ am a nanny to twin boys age 2. I have had them since they were 4 months old and now since they are going to school full time I have the opportunity to work with another lovely family. I have my degree in criminal justice/law and did a lot of child development classes as well. I was going to be a social worker but my real passion is children and acting/music. So nannying while pursuing those goals under strict COVID-19 guidelines is great.

I have taken care of kids newborn to 13 no age is a problem. I have done a lot of training dealing with newborns and school-age children.
I was MAT certified which means I can administer any medicine that your child may need.
I have done childhood development and have certifications in that as well as working in a daycare for a year during high school and then 2 years after. I am always trying to make sure that children have fun but can always have a learning moment involved as well. Educational television/activities are best. I try to implement sign language to younger children that can not speak yet or have learning disabilities. I have been a camp counselor / YMCA director/ daycare teacher babysitter and now a nanny for the last few years. I have a ton of child and early adult special needs knowledge and taking care of. I have dealt with autism to Rett's syndrome (which I have had a girl for 5 years from 16 to 21) that was a full-time position.

Children are our future and I truly believe that the people in their lives at each stage and age really help shape and mold the person they become and positive outlooks and experiences with the people who take care of them are so important in the growth and progress of the child. Being that I always strive to become a positive and important role model to whoever the child might be and whatever age they might be as well. Each age comes with different emotions and stages of life so they should all be respected and handled properly depending on each child’s individual needs.
