About me

My name is Cherish Cox. I was born in Texas and raised in Dallas, and lived in a single-parent home with my mother. My brothers, three, live with their dads. I lived in Texas until I was 16 years of age in the year 2017. In the new year of 2018, I moved to Los Angeles, California, where I graduated from Hollywood High School in 2020. In the summer of 2020, I moved to New York, for college where I attended LIM college. I transferred and now attend NYU seeking a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies. Throughout these years in my life, babysitting has been my occupation because of how much I enjoy nannying. I have a connection with children that is unexplainable.

Since I was the age of 8-9 years old, I have babysat many different age groups of children. I started with my brother and two twin cousins when they were infants. I would help my mother and aunt with feeding, diapering, and nap time while they were occupied. As my cousins and brother got older, I continued to help until my first independent job in 2015-2016. In 2015-2016, I was leaving middle school and going to high school. A friend of my mother’s had two girls between the ages of 4-6 who I babysat during nighttime. I babysat the girls occasionally throughout my first year of high school. In 2017-2018, I took a 6-month break but started babysitting again for another client with two boys between the ages of 3-5. I would babysit the boys at different times in the day. This particular job was also on occasion, which lead me to sign up for a babysitting service where I babysat for 11+ families. In 2018-2020 I gained recurring clients with children of different ages. There were eight families that all had 1-3 boys between the ages of 3-12. My most recent experience was in January of 2021, with a little boy who was 18 months old. My responsibilities consisted of a lot of play and meeting each child’s specific needs and schedule.

The little ones have a special place in my heart that couldn’t be replaced. I am here and open to be that bundle of love and supportive figure when the parental guardians are not around. I will always present my best self and give love to the children that are around me. With Love!!
