About me

I am a friendly, active nanny with many years of experience. I grew up in Boston, Massachusetts, and have since lived in Montreal, Toronto, Edinburgh and Denver before settling in Brooklyn, New York. I have always loved reading, art, baking and sports. I had an older brother and grew up surrounded by boys, so I have a tough skin and a competitive streak.

I have worked with many families over the years, as both a long-term babysitter and a full-time nanny. I've also worked as a tutor and a camp counselor, and I have a Minor in Education from McGill University. I love exploring with children, I find them endlessly fun and fascinating, and always enjoy my time as a nanny. I am a safety-conscious person, and I am fully vaccinated.
I am always happy to learn and adapt to preferred parenting styles, and am generally a flexible and amenable person. I've worked with infants, as well as families with many older children, and I feel confident in saying I have always managed to connect to the children I'm responsible for. I also volunteered as a Big Sister in Boston.

I am reliable, punctual, and communicative. I love dogs and other animals (though I am quite allergic to cats). I'm neat, and a decent cook, and I enjoy contributing to a household as a nanny, and doing what I can to make the house run a bit more smoothly.
