About me
I grew up an ambitious middle child, itching from an early age to grow beyond my slow beach town in Florida. I took after my older sister and fell in love with dancing, performing, and the music that accompanies it all. By age 12, I was on my way to Moscow, Russia (on my own!), after having received an invitation to study in the Bolshoi Ballet School's Russian program. This was the beginning of my non-traditional, real-world education that has taken me across the globe. Through my travels, I attended private online education and began teaching children of all ages. I spent my personal time studying adolescent cognitive development to better myself for the families I cared for while on breaks across the country.
My first professional childcare position began in 2013, when I cared for two girls from ages 2 and 5 through middle school. I also began teaching and traveling with a studio where I was in charge of children ages 2-18. When I moved back to New York, I began full-time nannying with a high profile family in Manhattan. I cared for two year old twins, 10 hours a day, 5 days a week. Here, I was in charge of maintaining a consistent schedule, diaper and outfit changes, preparing and cleanup of meals and dishes, housekeeping, accompaniment on excursions, school drop off and pickup, bath and bedtime prep, and participation in classes and therapy. I also nannied for two children ages 7 and 10 through their online remote learning experience. I was in charge of structuring the days including fun and active activities, preparing healthy meals for the family, light housekeeping, and coordination and transportation to appointments and extracurriculars. I coordinated and transported 6 additional children home from school daily in a carpool. I also organized my own personal "spring and summer camp" weeks for the children.
To me, all children are gifts of pure light energy and are to be protected and nurtured with love and healthy experience so that they can blossom into their full potential. I am extremely protective over and passionate about childcare. I cannot wait to share my love and make a positive impact on your family.

In 5 years, I hope to be...
In 5 years I will be finishing up school as psychologist and professional coach and mentor for dancers and artistic professionals. I hope to offer a sanctuary for growth and healing to take place within the rigorous world of the arts. Mental health is something that is historically not supported in the ballet world , and I will offer a sacred space to guide students to artistic excellence while balancing and nurturing the growth of the soul.
Activities & skills I love to teach & share with children...
I love to share my creativity through imagination stimulating games and activities. I encourage children to explore their bodies through movement and yoga. With past families, I have guided toddlers and school age children through modified classes and stretch sessions. I often find sneaky ways to teach children of all ages breathing and grounding exercises and techniques to help them connect and establish trust within themselves. I am also fluent in Russian and would love to help teach the foundations of the language. The main focus of my care will be passing along love, positivity and gratitude, and guiding children to embody each of those things themselves.
