About me
I was born in Ukraine. When I was 2 years old, my family moved to Kazakhstan where I grew up. I have a brother who is 2 years younger than me. When I was a child I went to an art school for 5 years, and was a part of the Russian Folk Band "Russkie Uzori". At the art school, I learned dancing, singing, playing piano and Russian percussion instruments, and applied arts. We performed 2-hour concerts on the stage in different cities. I came to the US 15 years ago, and most of the time I have been working with children.
I'm an infant/toddler expert and a devoted professional educator. My philosophy is that every child is unique and deserves respect, love, and care. I have over ten years of experience working with infants and toddlers. My background consists of 2 years as an infant caregiver in a daycare setting, 2 years nanny share with two girls since they were 4 months old, and four years working as a nanny in the city. I sleep, cook healthy meals, potty train, interact with kids, love singing, and know lots of songs. I love spending time outside on the playground or in the park. I graduated from Kingsborough College with honors and an Associate Degree in Educational Studies, Birth to 2nd grade in Fall 2020. I hold a Bachelor Degree (December 2023) in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Brooklyn College (Summa Cum Laude) and I was admitted to a Teachers College Columbia University to a graduate program in Bilingual Speech Language Pathology-will start in September 2024. I am fluent in English and Russian. I am responsible, efficient, organized, trustworthy, fun, loving, patient, easy-going, love talking to kids, and am interested in what they say. I have excellent references.
