About me

I am a former early childhood educator with years of experience working with children in schools, daycare, and in-home settings. I am skilled at creating structure and boundaries while allowing a safe space for your child to play, explore and grow. My experience as an early childhood teacher has equipped me with many appropriate child developmental activities and the ability to plan various games based on your child's interests and milestone goals. I am imaginative and creative! I believe every character in a story should have a voice, and sensory play is one of my favorite activities. Though my main priority is childcare-related, I also consider myself an extension of the parents I work alongside. I know how valuable it is to have someone support and adapt to your parenting style and maintain the flow of your home while you are away. I am communicative and will update you about your child's day-to-day adventures. I am clean and organized. I perform the tasks of tidying up playspaces, uploading the dishwasher, and running the child's laundry naturally. When the pandemic hit, I took time off and worked from home. However, I miss the intimacy and the rewarding feeling that comes from being a part of a team and creating a lifelong impact on a child's life. I consider myself a professional childcare provider. I am passionate about my role in the lives of the families I work with and look forward to creating a long-term bond in my next position.
