About me
My name is Ariel Fry Demetria, I’m 24 and graduated from Mount Holyoke College with a BA in economics in 2019. I grew up in Berkeley California and moved to New York in August for a change of scenery, to take time to work on my grad school applications from a new state, and to try something different. For the past two years, I have been working at Children’s Hospital in Oakland California doing pediatric cancer research. I’m currently taking classes and applying to grad school for nursing. I started babysitting when I was 12 with my cousins and other family members, and have been doing it part-time ever since. Over the past 12 years, I have worked with kids ages 3 weeks to 13 years old and love all ages. I consider myself outdoorsy, creative (I attended a visual arts high school my senior year), funny, patient, and extroverted. I love the beach, good food, rock climbing, traveling, and fashion. As a childcare provider, I enjoy sharing my love for nature, learning, and the world with kids. I believe it is important to provide children of all ages with an interactive, fun environment where kids feel like they can trust their nanny as well as learn and have fun with their babysitter.
