About me

Hi there!

My name is Eve and I grew up in Rochester, NY but moved to New York City last summer. I graduated from Purchase College in 2013 with a BA in Journalism and minor in Arts Management. Since my days working as a camp counselor in high school, I have 14 years of combined experience working with children of all ages (primarily ages 2 1/2-14 years old).

While writing had always been my first passion, in recent times I have been working as a freelance art director and graphic designer for my own business while working with children part-time. In my spare time I am also a fine artist and I love to paint, collage, draw and make fiber art creations (crochet, knitting, embroidery, rug hooking, needle punch) as well.

In the last few years I have worked at an International Montessori school while also providing private nannying for families. I'm a passionate lover and supporter of the arts and I love to engage children in activities that stimulate their creative and intuitive sense of imagination.

Whether we are playing with clay, getting our hands dirty with some gardening, reading books, playing games or just exploring the boundless and amazing nature of the world around us— I love to get kids off the couch, away from the screens and into doing something active and creative in their environment.
