About me

I was born and raised in Venezuela and was a part of a big family. My parents have always taught me not just to work hard but to also do my work exceptionally well. I was always the kid to go above and beyond and to help others. After graduating high school I got married and had 3 wonderful kids who are now all grown up. I loved raising them and keeping active with them, not just on our own but on our playdates too. We decided to move to the United States in December of 2004 and have since then lived in Bay Ridge. Growing up with many siblings, and being one of the older ones, really taught me how to care for children and raising my kids really revealed a passion for me to work with kids.

I've now worked with kids in the United States for 15 years but before moving here I did babysit a few kids that would get dropped off at my home. I lovingly cleaned, played with, transported, educated children throughout the years. I tutored and Assisted them with assignments for subjects like math, reading, and art. I even taught all of them Spanish. I carefully followed the parents instructions regarding schedules, chores, discipline, and free time. I had the honor of even sleep training and potty training many. I Took time to explore different parks with the children, and learned of all aspects of nature. We would even frequent the American Museum of Natural History to make sure they could also learn about the past.I would drop off and pick up from places like school, sports classes, and recreational classes like ballet, gymnastics, etc. From newborns to 10 year olds, I worked with all and personalized each and everyone of their days depending on how they were, what they liked, and what their parents wanted.

I would say I am a very active person and I love to bring that with me on a day to day bases, whether it's playing on the playground, play tag, having races, or even just playing at home; I love getting involved in all activities. I also understand the importance of a nap time or a rest time children require and are more than willing to help them have that daily. I am here to help with what ever you or your child needs!
