About me

I grew up in Tel-Aviv, Israel with two sisters, an older and younger one. I was raised in a family which encouraged us to pursue music and art. All three of us played instruments (I played the harp!) and our schedules were filled with art classes and social activities. When I was in high school we moved from Israel to Toronto. Having aspired to be an actor from a very young age, I received my BFA in Acting from Emerson College in Boston.

In parallel with my work as an actor, I've been engaged in education through teaching yoga and meditation, as well as babysitting children of various ages. I've babysat many children over the years, from the ages of 8 months to 12 years old. My duties would range from changing diapers to meal prep and school pick-up and drop off. I enjoy engaging the children with creative art, dramatic play, and other enriching activities, and also taking them out for adventures in nature, parks, and around the city.

In addition, I worked with GoGoKid as an ESL teacher, where I had the opportunity to connect with children of different backgrounds. One of the highlights of my education experiences was when I toured with Classic Repertory Company, doing educational theater in schools across New England. We led movement and theater workshops and performed two classical pieces studied within their curriculum. The gratification I got from seeing the children's excitement about classical works, and the joy they found in play and movement, have remained with me and inspire me to continue working with children of all ages in education.

In 5 years, I hope to be...

In 5 years I hope to be in a place where I can combine all of my passions: working with children, staying involved in social justice work and trauma- informed yoga, and pursuing my career in acting and theatre-making.

Activities & skills I love to teach & share with children...

I speak Hebrew, teach yoga and meditation, sing and know plenty of theatre and movement games to engage children of all ages. I love reading with them, drawing, working with crafts, and exploring the outdoors. I'm responsible, reliable, and punctual. I've worked with kids in Israel, Toronto, Boston, and New York.
