About me

Hi, my name is Erin! I am a 25 year old living in New York City.
I spent the first 18 years of my life growing up in Cary, North Carolina, which is right outside of Raleigh. I am the oldest child of 2, my younger brother is my best friend. From the ages of 3-18 I grew up dancing in a studio, everything from classical ballet to hip-hop and jazz! I also was involved in other activities like golf, tennis, swimming, skiing, and rock climbing. I went to college at the University of South Carolina where I graduated from the business school in 2018 with a triple major in Supply Chain, Marketing, and Human Resources, as well as a minor in Spanish. I currently work in software consulting for IBM and am also a certified yoga instructor! Both of these are large parts of my life and have contributed to me being a kind, disciplined, flexible, and energetic person. I have always loved spending time with kids and as I am not at a stage in my life where I am ready for them myself, this is the next best thing!
I have been working with children for 13 years, from ages 3 months to 13 years old, including twin 4 year olds! I have held multiple different jobs within childcare from a date night sitter, mothers helper, full-time and part-time nannying, and a dance teacher for ages 7-9. I have worked with up to 6 children at a time in a nannying setting and 15 children while being a dance teacher. I have worked equally with boys and girls and enjoy both! I am professional and a great communicator, while always being loving towards children and their families.
I love to cook, travel, be outside, read, and spend time with friends and family! I am seeking this position not out of the need for money but because I genuinely want to spend time with kids and build a long term relationship with a family. I am patient, creative, detail oriented, health conscious, and very clean. One of my favorite parts of nannying is building and maintaining close relationships with great families. I have learned so much from the children I work with and I hope to leave them feeling the same!
