About me

Hi, I’m Morgan! I grew up in South Salem, New York just about an hour drive from Manhattan. I love activities such as theatre and anything outdoors. I have a twin brother and golden retriever named Sadie. In 2020 I graduated from SUNY Fredonia with my Bachelor’s of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre. Since graduating, I’ve been living at home and working in virtual productions, staying productive in taking classes and auditioning in my field of performing arts, and working in childcare!

I’ve been professionally babysitting for over five years. I’ve worked as a part-time babysitter, date night sitter, and a summer nanny. In high school I spent weekends and summers babysitting family friend’s children. In college and after graduation I’ve had experience with caring for one 10 year girl, where my duties including getting her ready for school in the mornings, housekeeping chores, preparing breakfast and transporting her to the bus and her hybrid learning location. I was proactive and creative in doing activities with her such as puzzles, drawing, kids science experiments, swimming and more. I watched two boys ages 6 and 8, where my responsibilities were getting them off the bus, handling homework, meal prep, and activities. Activities included play dates, “ninja class”, swimming at the town pool, scavenger hunts, crafts and more. One previous summer I watched another pair of brothers, ages 6 and 8 where I was their full time nanny. In addition to meal prep and handling one child’s allergy, I drove them to activities such as taking them to parks, aquariums, the pool and birthday parties. I have experience with caring for children on the spectrum, and am CPR certified.

Being an artist and performer, I find that my outgoing personality and love for creativity provides a positive experience for both the kids and myself. Caring for children this past year has brought so much joy into my life and I’ve formed bonds that motivate me to be a kind, responsible and nurturing human. I love that my time with kids can be fun and imaginative while providing an educational environment. I hope that my time spent with your children helps them grow into wonderful individuals!
