About me
I have been babysitting for over 12 years. I am the oldest of four children and I grew up taking care of my brother (who is 5 years younger than me) and my twin siblings (who are 10 years younger than me). My little twin brother and sister were such a wonderful part of my life growing up that at the end of sixth grade I did a project about how much my life had changed now that they were not in diapers anymore. I started babysitting for families other than my own when I was twelve and since then I have worked as a nanny, camp-counselor, resident assistant, and church-nursery coordinator and care-giver. While I was in high school, my favorite after-school job was directing and choreographing musical theatre productions for 5 to 7-year-old children. During my undergrad I went on a trip to China where I spent a lot of time helping out and playing with kids at orphanages. It was during this time that I realized how much I love taking care of, and interacting with children.
I am currently actively involved with my church and I love volunteering. I am also very artistic. I absolutely love singing, dancing, and doing arts and crafts with kids, and I love encouraging them to be artistic. I am kind, caring, compassionate, organized, responsible, and I have babysat for many different children ranging from infants to teenagers. While taking care of children I believe in safety first and I know how to create an environment where the kids have a great time. I adore children and they bring me tremendous joy!
