About me

I grew up in Naples, Italy. I'm the first of three daughters and the first grandchild in my mother's side family. I've been always a voracious reader since I've learned to read. My deepest interest has been in science, philosophy, and literature. Being the first grandchild I was followed by the birth of my two sisters and 12 cousins. From the start, I felt my call to take care of newborns and children. I've always asked my mother and my aunts to change their diapers and take full care of the babies. I was rewarded by the babies' eyes full of joy and love and my heart was fulfilled in the same way. I've graduated with a high school diploma: Pedagogy and teaching in the nursery and primary school from the school "Eleonora Pimentel Fonseca" in Naples, Italy. Since then I've never stopped learning and enhance my knowledge. I have an Adult and Baby First Aid and CPR training certificate. I'm a certified Reiki Master, Life Coach, and Kids Yoga Teacher. All my studies are related to my call to help others and moreover children. Taking care of children is a huge mission requesting not only physical work but psychological, mental, empathic, and energetic work...I can certainly tell I worked with children all my life long since the early age of 9. I gave birth to two kids that are now two independent and brilliant adults. In Italy, I worked overall as a kindergarten teacher, a school tutor at private families' homes, baby sitter. I took care of children from newborns to teenagers.
I would change diapers, warm breast milk bottles, night care, take the stroller to the park, make lunches when they started eating solids, and play with any kind of child toys, sleep trained, potty trained, organized kids' bedrooms in the Montessori method. I had to take care of drop-off and pick-up from the school, l participated in extra and after-school activities, organized playdates, creativity, arts, and handcrafted with children. I spoke and taught the Italian language. I organized and traveled with children with subways, buses, trains, and planes. I have experience with a child with disabilities, he was in a wheelchair. I love being with children, they're our future. I feel it's extremely important to help them in growing and developing their personalities, encouraging their skills. One of the fundaments is to love them and respect them.
