About me

I grew up in New York City. I have a big sister and we are two years apart. I am a certified teacher's assistant in the state of New York. I have trainings in the recognition and "reporting child abuse" , "child development & learning" and I am also CPR trained. I speak English and Spanish! After college I worked in a kids restaurant called "American Girl Place" where I learned how much I enjoy being around kids.

I have worked with infants and toddlers as a teacher's assistant for the last ten years. My responsibilities were assisting the lead teacher with daily activities and routines, assisting children in transitioning during the day, changing diapers, warming breast milk bottles, feeding, helping with nap times, and outdoor activities during the summer.

I also did private babysitting for some of the parents from the nursery school where I used to work. Duties included taking the kids home from school, providing dinner and putting the kids down for bed. Also this past year due to the pandemic I have assisted two school-aged children with their remote learning and guided them through their homework.

I love to interact with the children and help them grow. its such a pleasure to work with the babies and watch them achieve their first milestones in life!
