About me

I was born in Manhattan but grew up predominantly on Long Island.

I started sitting when I was 13 years old. I took care of many children from a couple of months old to preteens. I was good and responsible and was hired many weeks in advance. This continued until I went to college.

As an adult I cared for two friends children, both continuing until they grew up and no longer needed a sitter. One I started when Zoey was eight and the other as an infant.

For the past few years I have been lucky enough to have three constant families I worked for.
Luka I started sitting for at two months old and ended at four years old, when his parents moved to Australia. I developed a very close relationship with him and followed him to Queens when his family moved. I miss him still. Eshel I sat for for over a year until her dad was offered a job in California. Zaydaan I know for a couple of years and am currently sitting for him after a year of them having a live in nanny and they did not need me. I am very happy to be back with him and his new baby sister.

I look forward to meeting new families and new children.
I find every child is unique and the way you act with them has to match their character and needs. I am there for them.

In 5 years, I hope to be...

Doing what I am doing now. I am very happy with my life and would love to have a few more children in it

Activities & skills I love to teach & share with children...

I love crafts and sewing. I find things such as coloring to be fun for kids and it is helpful with mind development as well as things like word search, etc. It stimulates their mind and is fun. Puzzles can be a lot of fun when you and the child do it together I also love outdoor activities of any kind. What we do depends on their age and interests.
