About me

I'm from Venice, California. I grew up on the beach, loving acting in commercials with my dad, surfing, and playing imaginary games. I've always loved to play! In 2016 my baby brother was born, right before I entered high school. I went to a performing arts high school, and in my senior year, my baby sister was born! Now they're ages 5 and 1, and my two favorite people on earth. I currently attend Pace University here in New York in a non-major area. I'm still exploring, but I'm looking into a career in acting.

I started working in childcare as a date-night babysitter for some family friends when I was 13 after finally being old enough to take the Red Cross Babysitting and Childcare Training Course. My first regular job was in high school when I took care of a gorgeous little girl who was almost 1. By the time I was working less regularly she was almost 3! We had the best time, playing all day until naptime or mealtimes, going to the park, and walking the dog with the stroller. After that, I took care of a 1-year-old and a 3-year-old on the family's au pair's off days for about a year, until my junior year started. Then, for the next year, I took care of an infant until he was toddling around comfortably. Seeing his growth was such an honor. He is a bilingual child, so I got to practice my French skills while working. I'm also completely fluent in Spanish and getting real good at American Sign Language. Every summer during high school I worked as a counselor at The Surf Bus Foundation, a beach camp for inner-city children in Los Angeles. That work came with yearly first aid, CPR, and beach safety certifications.

My work is my play. Professionalism is very important to me, and an absolute priority, but my focus during the day goes into developing relationships with the kids, and to me, that means playing. True, creative imagination, is needed in creating bonds and it is my absolute favorite part of my day.

Activities & skills I love to teach & share with children...

My language and arts skills! I speak Spanish fluently, am intermediate in French, and a beginner in ASL. I play 3 instruments and love to sing and dance! Drawing is also super fun, especially when kids like to visualize their imagination. It's a really fun activity to share.
