About me

I grew up in Spanish Harlem in New York city. I have a brother who is 13 and a sister who is 22. My mother is a teacher and has been for my whole life. I think this helps with my skills in teaching children as well. When I was younger I would read and write which I still do today. If I was interested in something like music I would teach myself how to play these instruments. My parents bought me a guitar and a piano which I taught myself how to play. I graduated from Martin Luther King high school on the upper west side. From there I applied for the University of New Haven to pursue a career in criminal justice. When I got to the school I soon realized that I didn't want to pursue a career in that field anymore and left the school.
After that I thought it would be perfect to go into the nanny business. Being the oldest child of three I figured I had experience with younger children. And the fact that my mom was a teacher made it easier for me to relate to children and teach them things. I have been a nanny for a little over five years ranging from ages of eight months to seven years old. I love being able to be in their lives every day and have them teach me as well as me teach them.
