About me

I am from sunny Coral Spring, Florida and the oldest of three younger sisters. I went to a performing arts middle school where I found my love of performance. After high school I auditioned around the country and decided to go to Ball State University to get my BFA in musical theatre. I just graduated in May and have been going on plenty of auditions for film and TV since Broadway has sadly been out of commission.

As the oldest sibling I had a huge pet in raising all of my younger sisters. My mother worked full time so at a young age I had to take the responsibility of raising my young sisters. In high school I got my first job as a summer camp counselor that I worked for four years. This job really made me appreciate children and helping in their developmental stages, especially young artists. I was responsible for groups of 30-40 children whose ages ranged from 5-13 years old. I taught the groups dance numbers, rehearsed lines, and created activities to engage the children. For two years while I was in college I babysat part time for one of my professors. Their two girls were 6 and 3 years old and I would play tea parties, prepare lunch and dinner, get their pajamas on, and read them bedtime stories. After college, I started nannying for a boy in Chicago. I was a nanny for six months before I moved to the city. While I was there I prepared him for virtual school and assisted him with all of his virtual classes. When he switched to a hybrid schedule I would facilitate his asynchronous work as well. I prepared lunch, played with toys, created musicals, danced, and kept him active in his classes and engaged him with playtime after.

I love theatre. It is a part of every aspect of my life. At the center of theatre is telling stories and connecting with people. This is exactly why I love children. Children lead with creativity and expression and I want to be a part of exploring the world, whether imaginary or real life, with every child I have the pleasure of working with.
