About me

Hi! I'm Miley, an energetic and outgoing childcare professional. I was born in Israel, grew up in St. Louis Missouri, and moved to Charlotte, North Carolina in middle school. I returned to Israel for college, where I studied Political Science. After graduation I moved to New York to become an actor. Nannying has always worked really well with my acting career, and I am so lucky to have two jobs that are so much fun, that I never have to feel like I'm truly working.

I most recently worked with a family living on the Upper East Side. The children's ages are 2, 6, and 8. This family was looking for a nanny that was fluent in Hebrew, and I am a native Hebrew speaker, so it was a perfect fit! I provide childcare as well as assistance with zoom/curriculum for the 6 and 8 year old. My day to day with them involves playing, taking the kids to the park (the 2 year old can even go on the tire swing now!!!) helping the older kids with zoom school and homework, feeding them, sometimes cooking, and basic clean up. Prior to working with this family, I worked with another family on the Upper East Side. I was a full time sitter for them (M-F after school) as well as a date night sitter, every Saturday night! These children were 7 and 10. I would do after-school pickup, homework help, take the kids to their extracurriculars, feed them and get them organized for the next day. The older child needed extra love and attention as she suffered from anxiety. Part of my work with her involved helping her through moments of anxiety attacks that were truly out of her control, and helping her feel secure and safe.

As an actor and singer, I love incorporating music with play time! Dancing around with kids is the best way to spend ANY Monday. With the family I'm currently with, I love taking the kids to the science center in New Jersey, where they have tons of new and exciting things to learn about every time we go! My favorite days are our "fun days," like Sundays or any days they have off school, where I can be a kid with them and play and explore!
