About me

Hello! My name is Taryya Ellis and I have always had a knack for childcare. I grew up in Virginia and moved to New Jersey at 8 years old. I have a younger brother and an amazing dog. In my youth, I always enjoyed taking care of my younger relatives and was always trusted while doing so. In high school I started taking child development classes and was very intrigued to learn about the different milestones a child may go through. Throughout high school and college, I started babysitting my neighbor's kids and soon went on to be a teacher's assistant in two preschools, where I helped with reading, writing, and how to always be kind and respectful.

I am now a nanny and couldn't be happier, I have 5 years experience as a nanny and 4 years as a babysitter. I also have experience as a personal assistant, and mother's helper. I have worked with ages ranging from 3 months to 13 years old. I am very active, so I have no problem taking any kid out for daily outside adventures, I am also CPR and First Aid certified. I can meal prep if need be and I have taken care of children with major allergies, and special needs. I have worked with families with kosher kitchens and intuitive eating and always followed the guidelines the parents asked for. My number one priority will always be safety, while still making sure every child is happy and healthy.
