About me
My name is Theresa Abraham and I’m currently finishing up my masters in Adolescent and Special Education at Marist College. My content area focus is History and I have a passion for African Diaspora Studies! I love being a sitter/nanny because I not only have the patience and multi-tasking skills to babysit multiple kids at once (perks of having a huge family), I am also capable of tutoring and teaching as well. I think I excel in deploying strategies to help kids learn and I can differentiate material to meet each student’s needs, since all students learn differently. Like I said, I grew up in a big family with at least 16 baby cousins that I have been so lucky to grow up around. These experiences, as well as experiences within a classroom, help me go above and beyond for families that are in need of a sitter or nanny.
I have professional child care experience with...
- Infants
- Toddlers
- Preschoolers
- School-aged (K-5)
- Preteen
- Multiples
- Special Needs
