About me
Since graduating college, I have been cooking, baking, babysitting, volunteering, doing yoga, and reading a lot. I work for State Senator Squadron as a Community Affairs Fellow. I also volunteer with Edible Schoolyard NYC and have been doing garden cleanups with them for the past few summers. They strive to teach children to grow foods that correspond to lesson plans in schools. It’s an unbelievable organization! With regards to cooking and baking, I pursue healthy, natural recipes that not only taste good but also are good for you. I believe that cooking and baking with children and having children participate in food preparation is an irreplaceable lesson and contributes to fond memories. Producing your own food is a craft and it also teaches kids to enjoy eating healthy.
Along with cooking and gardening, I love being active with children, playing make believe games, reading, and being outside. As a child, I was pretty shy, and I found make believe games and theater to be my outlet. I love to allow kids to be as imaginative as possible and encourage game play and outdoor activity. I am born and raised in New York City and know how important it is to seize the beautiful days and go outside and enjoy our parks. I have been babysitting for about eight years for children of all ages and a variety of backgrounds. In the future, I hope to work in urban planning and sustainable city development in New York City.

Activities & skills I love to teach & share with children...
I love to cook and bake, and I think cooking/baking with children is one of the sweetest activities there is (pun intended). Other indoor activities I enjoy participating with children are reading and make believe games. There is nothing like seeing children getting imaginative and excited about reading. As for outdoor activities, I am a yogi and runner and love being outside and being active with children!
