About me

I was born and raised in Providence, Rhode Island then moved to Texas. Growing up with two parents that often worked multiple jobs being the second youngest of 6 my elder sister was practically a mother to me as I was to my younger sister.

I’ve worked with children ranging from newborn to school age. From infancy I encourage physical activity and incorporate it into their daily routines because it helps with not only physical development my mental and emotional as well. I am a very hands on nanny I play tag like it’s the olympics and color as if my coloring page of Elsa and Olaf is going to be hung at the Metropolitan. I love dance parties and host quite the tea party. When I care for infants communication is everything I talk them through our day, ask questions when I notice their mood change. I follow their lead and allow them to blossom.

I’ve always loved children I worked as a tutor, camp counselor and children’s party host for 2 years before I transitioned to being a professional nanny. I was a consistent volunteer in the Dallas Independent School District for all 4 years of high school and post high school led numerous service initiatives to help raise students scores on the state mandated test for elementary students in the south Dallas area. I come from a family of educators, my sister is a principal and my uncle actually founded a school for underprivileged children in west Africa just this past year. The value of education was instilled in me at a young age as a nanny my energy and zest captivates the minds of children and fosters a relationship in which I am able to help the children in my care reach their developmental milestones and have fun. I engage with the children in my care by encouraging communication in order to aid in their development of self advocacy skills and fostering healthy relationships with those around them. Everything that I do is centralized around helping raise productive members of society that are independent and kind.
