About me
I grew up in North Bergen with a younger brother and sister. I’m the oldest of 3, we’ve lived in north Bergen for 23 years. As a kid I was always involved in extra curricular activities such as basketball, karate, dance, cheering and gymnastics. Gymnastic was my favorite sport so I did that for 13 years unfortunately it ended because the facility didn’t renew their lease and the other school was to far for my mom to drop me off 4 times a week, as well as taking my brother and sister to their sports. I went to catholic school till I was in 8th and then graduated and went into public school where I graduated high school. I went to community college but unfortunately had to take 3 years off for financial reasons so I worked full time and put money away till I was able to go back to school full time.
Throughout those years is when I had started babysitting after years of doing summer camp counseling. I had joined through Sittercity and started off that way! I had also worked in a daycare where I had experience with infants from 3 months to 2 years old. That’s the age group they had placed me with, my duty was to help the other teachers aids in feeding, diaper changing, and putting them down for a nap as well as playing with them. I’ve been babysitting for so many years now and have years of experience as well as cpr/first aid certification.
For as long as I could remember I was always obsessed with helping kids but my passion is science which is why I’m pursuing a career in nursing! I want to help kids who can’t help themselves, I love the feeling of knowing I helped a child feel better. Long term wise I want to focus in labor and delivery or just focus on pediatrics. It’s such a fulfilling feeling knowing you helped someone who’s so young get better
