About me

I grew up in Los Angeles. I am a first- generation college student and immigrant from Milan, Italy. I entered the states at age 3. I spent my teenage years raising my two younger sisters while my parents worked to provide for us. As I did this, I began to understand the responsibilities and care required as a caregiver. I learned how to create a safe and nourishing environment for my younger sisters. I had found joy and success in caring for my sisters and that planted the dream of pursuing a professional career as a caregiver.
Here is a little information about myself. I am a hardworking individual who pays serious attention to my studies and jobs. During my undergrad years, I learned to navigate the challenges of a full time job and a full time student. I graduated from California State University of Northridge. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Psychology. In my last year at CSUN, I was honored to be one of the recipients of the Dreamer's Scholarship. Winning this scholarship was very rewarding and demonstrates my hard work and dedication. As I loved studying and learning about the field of Psychology I did not find it suitable as a long term career. In fact, I had a change of heart and soon began taking science courses for nursing school. I learned that my true passion lies in the medicine world. I aspire to be a nurse practitioner. My passion in life is devoted in helping people. I strongly believe the healthcare industry is a type of work environment that is truly rewarding and fulfilling. Also, in the same way, playing a role model and making a positive difference in the lives of the children in my care is my commitment because I genuinely love the company of children.
During my free time, I enjoy boxing, hiking, and running. I am very active and incorporate health fitness into my daily life.

Activities & skills I love to teach & share with children...

I love my job because it truly has a positive impact on the lives of children in my care. I love implementing team work and positive attitudes. I think it’s important to teach children how to work together as a team. Trying to bring as much awareness as we can to the children. Practicing small acts of kindness and fairness is highly important as well. Integrating good sportsmanship and respect to our peers and families is an essential part of a child's developmental years.
