About me

My name is Natalie. I was born and grew up in the Republic of Georgia. I have a husband and a son who has his own family and two beautiful children. I have loved music since I was a child and went to music school where I learned to play piano. After I graduated from high school, I finished my schooling at the Technical University of Georgia, where I received a masters degree in teaching mathematics and computers. I was teaching math in elementary and high schools before I came this country.
I’m a fun, loving, optimistic, friendly and easy-going person. I adore children and have a true affinity for them. With over 20 years of experience in the childcare field, I feel that I have gained excellent childcare experience with children of all ages. I use my knowledge to nurture, teach, encourage and when necessary, comfort young children, treating them as I would my own.
I feel our responsibility as parents and teachers is to provide children with the best possible education and choices so they are able to grow to their maximum potential. I enjoy being surrounded by children because of their imagination, innocence and creativity.
My most recent job was with a family who had two children, 4 months old and 4 years old, in Park Slope. I worked full-time with this family for 6 years, and often stayed to watch the children overnight when the parents would travel out of town, as they are famous musicians. I did a lot of cooking for the family and made healthy, organic recipes. I’m ready to continue doing what I love and broaden my experiences!
