About me

Hello! My name is Katelynn Fahrer. I grew up in Southern Indiana, with my wonderful parents and my older brother Nik. Nik and I grew up enjoying team sports, traveling the U.S., and participating in friendly competition during board game nights! For college, I went to Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee. With my Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre, I enjoy bringing my performance background into my nannying experiences in order to provide a creative and positive energy.

I have been working with children for almost ten years! From being a dance teacher in high school, to a babysitter in college, and now a nanny in New York City, I have had the pleasure of working with children of all ages. Ranging from 8 months to 17 years old, I have been responsible for playtime, homework help, dinner time, bed time, and taking kids to and from their after-school activities.

Besides working with children, my other passion is Musical Theatre! I have been performing since I was 4 years old. In that experience, I have learned from so many different adults that weren't my immediate family. I am so grateful that the combination of my parents, dance teachers, professors, choreographers, and directors helped shape me into the person I am today. It is my goal and mission to help pass that on to the younger generation!
