About me

Hi there!

My name is Kevin. I am a Buffalo-raised actor currently living in New York City. I enjoy a sweet wine and petting multiple dogs at once. I was last seen on Broadway, buying a pretzel and sitting in the back row.

Having first being inspired by *classics* such as High School Musical, Glee and Hannah Montana, I consider myself to be a real-life Troy Bolton having devoted my first 14 years to athletics and academics only to be rerouted in 2009 by my high school's production of Annie. Since then I have performed around the world in Germany, Spain, Russia and exotic Ohio. I most recently closed (due to COVID) the National Tour of RENT in March 2020.

When I turned 14, as the youngest of five siblings, I began babysitting my nephews for some spare money. This side hustle has turned into a second passion of mine. As actors work gig to gig, I love using my time off to educate and entertain children. I have had the pleasure of working at preschools, and birthday party venues, as well as working privately as a sitting for families across NYC. Most recently, I worked as a babysitter for a lovely, hard-worker mother named Elaine. Her superstar children, Stephen (3) and Stephanie (6), and I have been belting Hamilton together since Fall of 2018. When our voices were tired, we would save the world from aliens, learn that the moon wasn't made of cheese and I even got them to eat broccoli! I worked with them when mom had to run errands or stay late at work (2-8 hour shifts, 1-2 times a week).

I believe in treating children like adults. Actions like: taking the time to explain something they don't understand or holding them accountable to predecided limited are effective and fair methods of care. As much as I believe I am a child at heart, my brain remains that of an adult. As a lifeguard of four years, I have seen what a lack of responsibility and emphasis on safety can do. With me, that will never be a worry. Together we will make sure safety is everyone's number one concern, that way with that peace of mind, we can have an exciting and memorable time together.

In 5 years, I hope to be...

happy, healthy, living in an apartment I own and performing on a stage.

Activities & skills I love to teach & share with children...

I love to sing, dance and play pretend with kids. I have the entirety of Hamilton memorized so I can entertain them for hours. I am rather intellectual and am fascinated by subjects like math, natural science, and history. I am always willing to have a conversation with a child about what the moon is made of or where our flag came from.
