About me

I grew up in Europe, in a small country Croatia. I was raised by single mom, and me being eldest child I was always there to cover for her and help her with my siblings whenever she needed me to.

I graduated in Tourism and Hospitality in Croatia. I’m fluent in English and Croatian, somehow German - and currently studying Spanish language.

In High School I started working as a babysitter for different families from all over the world that would come to Croatia for their vacation. It started as my way to help my mom financially, but it soon developed into something bigger, life long love and passion, and realization how rewarding the job is. And I absolutely enjoy working with kids!

Soon after graduating - one of the family I babysit for asked me to move-in with them to Germany - which I did! I was taking care for two wonderful girls, Nika 4 and Lea 6. I was being a big brother figure to them; helping them to dress, to bathe, tought them how to behave, orientate, supported them emotionally and helped them with their ideas and projects. I was taking them to school and picking them up, organizing activities, taking them to play dates, sports and any activity I would’ve planned for them, cooking for the whole family, and helping with housework.

Then I moved here to NYC and was doing babysitting for multipe families. I spent last two years working for an amazing family of 4 (plus doggie) taking care of their two beautiful children, June (now 10) and Marshall (now 6).

My duties included pick-ups and drop-off, preparing lunches for them, planning fun activities for kids, taking them for day trips, exploring missions, feeding them, bathing, helping them to develop their creative side through games and crafts, playing outside, being there for them emotionally, assisting with homework, covering date-nights and out of town days as many other duties. I also helped family with house chores - cooking, tidying up, covering groceries, laundry etc.

I know how to keep safe, and yet fun, environment. I'm emotionally supportive, which I believe is very important for their both emotional and mental growth. I'm very creative, responsible and organized person, and I love cooking! Most of my free time time I either write (screenplays, stories or music), cook or travel.

I aspire to become a screenwriter one day, and to write couple of books for the kids.
I know how to provide trustworthy and loving care while ensuring a fun and safe environment for kids, helping them to develop and to be their emotionally and psycial support.
