About me

I grew up mostly in Brooklyn, New York. I have one sister. As children we traveled a lot and loved it. At a young age I fell in love with singing, reading walking. After High School I went on to study at the Borough of Manhattan Community College where I received my degree in Early Childhood Education. While in college and After college I was an Academic Tutor for preteens and teenagers.

As the oldest sister I have always babysat my sister from a young age. I know that is what sparked my interest in working with children. As a teenager most of my summers consisted of me being a Youth Counselor in a Summer Camp. I was a Counselor for children ages 7-10 years old. As a Counselor I was over a group of 5 kids. Majority of the day consisted of breakfast/lunch and field trips which I was over organizing and setting up. While in New York I have been a Head Teacher for a private day care. I meal prepped, taught and provided care for a group of toddlers. I was also a Nanny for a 2 month old girl. I meal prepped, provided snacks, did different in home activities as well as outdoor activities. I used several educational tools with the child. When needed I worked overtime when the parents worked overtime or wanted to have a date night.

I love what I do because I know that Im helping shape a young child's character. For through out my career as a child care provider I have loved seeing children go through their milestones and helping them to achieve them. I believe in being fun, patient, attentive and dependable when working with child.
