About me

I'm Jennifer, a dedicated nanny based in Manhattan. As a native New Yorker living on the Upper West Side, I bring a wealth of experience and a passion for nurturing children. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Dance and a Minor in Journalism from Marymount Manhattan College. I’m a native English speaker and proficient in Spanish.

Having cared for boys and girls from newborns to thirteen years old, my responsibilities have ranged from changing diapers, facilitating morning and bedtime routines, and attending toddler classes, to overseeing playdates, assisting with homework, and light cooking/meal preparation for kids. Most importantly, I believe in being a positive mentor. I am comfortable taking direction from both couples and single parents, whether they are physically present or not. I am also happy to assist with house cleaning, children’s laundry, and pet care (dogs).

My strong communication and project management skills and deep commitment to fostering a positive environment for children are what set me apart. My best school subjects are Creative Writing, Spanish, and Art. Additionally, I am a good swimmer.

I encourage a sense of belonging, self-awareness, and self-esteem in the children I care for, promoting foundational character skills such as honesty, respect, caring, kindness, and responsibility. The goal behind my services is to create a nurturing, positive, inclusive family environment with an emphasis on safety, fun, and laughter.
