About me

I grew up in Dallas as the middle child of 3 girls. Music, swimming, the outdoors, and being creative are things I have always loved. In 2019 I received my Bachelor's Degree in communications, marketing, and digital media and immediately after graduation I moved to Brooklyn to be a live-in nanny.

I started working with children in 2012 doing babysitting gigs, various summer music camps for elementary students, and working with my school's special needs students during lunch and PE. My first full-time nanny job was in 2016 with a 3-year-old boy on the autism spectrum, and working with him ignited my love for being a nanny. Being able to watch the children I care for learn and grow is such a special experience. During this time I was also a director for an after school program for K-5th graders in underserved communities called “Dream Outside the Box”, where I thoroughly enjoyed developing lesson plans and overseeing programming for the children we worked with. Some of my daily responsibilities in other full time nanny roles included: making healthy snacks and meals, regulating nap times, taking children to various activities such as swimming at the local pool or trips to the museum/library, organizing, conducting age-appropriate recreational activities, such as games, arts and crafts, sports, walks, and playdates, dressing child and changing diapers, bath time, driving children to and from school, packing school lunches, doing laundry, cleaning up common rooms, overseeing homeschooling, helping children work through big and challenging emotions, and traveling with families. I've also worked as a Live-In Nanny and Household Manager, and both of these positions included elevated household responsibilities.

I am valued by families for my patience, warmth, creativity, professionalism, active listening, time management, trustworthiness, flexibility, and excellent judgment. I provide parents with an unwavering commitment to ensuring the safety and welfare of their children. I know that being a nanny is much more than watching children, that's why I am dedicated to not only bringing my love and laughter into your family’s lives, but also figuring out exactly what you need to help your family excel. Simply put, I love children and I look forward to helping them learn and grow at every stage of their young lives.

In 5 years, I hope to be...

In 5 years I hope to still be working with and caring for children in some capacity. I was always happy to volunteer in a childcare facility at a young age, so the fact that I get to do the same now as a job makes me want to do this forever! I've always known that I wanted to have an important job of caring for children.

Activities & skills I love to teach & share with children...

I love to share my love of music and being creative with children. To me, getting to experience a child using the creative sides of their brain is so exciting. So teaching and sharing my love for using our brains and hands to practice creativity through music and art is something I love to experience with the children I care for.
