About me

I was born and raised in France, where my family and I are from, with an older brother and sister. We moved to the United States when I was 6 years old for 4 years before moving back to France where I attended middle school, high school and college. I obtained a Master's degree in Finance in 2018 from my university in France and moved to New York for my first job. After a couple years in this field, I have decided to go back to school to change career paths and become a teacher, which is something I've wanted to do for a long time. So, naturally, a nanny position with hands on experience with children seems like a perfect fit for me during this transition.

I started babysitting and tutoring at the age of 12 and continued throughout high school and college. I have cared for families with children aging from 8 months to 13 years old and up to four children at the same time. I’ve held positions from date night sitter to live-in nanny on a 2 week ski trip. Being tri-lingual (French, English and Spanish), parents have often asked me to tutor their children in those languages and/or have them children discover a new language for the younger ones. Living in a beach town in France, I’ve also often been trusted to bring children on beach trips and other outdoor activities.

As did my parents with me, I think it is important to give children the opportunity of discovering different activities; whether they be physical, creative or intellectual activities. It is important to help them discover what they enjoy doing and that there are many things out there and that there is something for them! Even if at some ages children tend to show a little more resistance to new things. I think it's important for children today to reconnect with activities other than screens as it is an important part of their personal development and can help them with choices and difficulties life brings! I love the joy of helping them discover or learn something new!
