About me

I grew up in New York as the eldest sibling. I fell in love with working with kids at a very young age and as I got older, I decided to go on to study early childhood education at Borough of Manhattan Community College. During college, I worked with children ages 2 and up.

As the oldest child, I had many responsibilities taking care of my younger brother. I spent my high school years working at an after school program which I enjoyed very much. After high school, I discovered professional nannying. My responsibilities included picking the kids up from school or activities, feeding them, giving baths, making sure they did their homework, playing instruments, cleaning up after them, taking them to the park, and making arts and crafts. Most of my babysitting jobs were either on-call or part-time babysitting, but for the last year I have been working with a 3 year old with special needs on a full time basis.

I am pursuing a career in childhood education as I truly enjoy helping children. Many kids have difficulties and need special attention from their teachers, counselors, and caregivers. My dream is to make sure every child is in great hands.
