About me

I grew up in Maui, Hawaii as an only child. Our family placed a lot of value on taking advantage of the wonderful outdoors. I spent a lot of time in the ocean, hiking, and dancing at my studio. I then pursued a BFA in Musical Theatre at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City. Since graduation, I moved to the city for a few months before booking a cruise contract performing in the musical Cats. Since returning, I have been a caretaker for multiple families in the city, while continuing to pursue musical theatre. I love spending my time around children, as I find them a wonderful inspiration and a reminder of innocence!

I started my babysitting experience as a mother's helper in middle school. I then babysat throughout high school after I went through the American Red Cross babysitting training. My first job was as a caretaker for the children of members of a Canoe Club, and I would watch about ten kids for two hours during their parents' paddling practice, during which we would work on homework or play games. In college, I was a nanny for a 5 year-old girl during the day a few days a week. We would spend our time playing outside, drawing, reading, and playing games. On other days I would watch twin infant boys, for whom I was responsible for meal prepping, diaper changes, nap time, and play time. I also helped out with a variety of families on an occasional basis. Since being in the city, I have worked with a family of tween boys and would cook for and with them, and supervise homework. I also cared for toddler girls, ages 2 and 4. We would draw, paint, do puzzles, play dress up, and make forts. I also cared for an infant boy. I would warm his milk, feed him, make sure he was safe at all times, change his diaper, and put him down for naps. I have also cared for a few other families on an occasional basis.

I am a highly responsible and caring babysitter, and love to have fun! I am a very energetic and enthusiastic individual, so naturally, I get along great with kids. No matter what situation I am in, the first time I meet new kids, I love interacting with them.
