About me

I am an actor, teacher, and childcare worker. I grew up in the DC area and graduated from Emerson College in Boston with a BFA in Theater Education and Performance. I recently moved to New York where I am currently working as a theater artist, teacher, and nanny.

I have a passion for working with children and have been babysitting for the past 10 years. I have worked with children ranging from 8 weeks old to 16 years old. With the 8 week old baby I was responsible for relevant infant care. With preschool age children I engaged in a wide variety of games and activities. With elementary through high school age kids, I have helped with after school pick ups, bringing them to after school activities, homework, and always lots of play. I am fluent in Spanish and am eager to teach! I have worked in theater for my whole life and have been working as a teacher for years now at preschools, elementary schools, middle schools, after school programs, and in children's theaters. I also have skills in yoga, dramatic play, tutoring, arts & crafts, nature, and music and am happy to explore these areas and more with the children that I work with.

I am constantly inspired by children's endless energy and creativity, and the open way in which they look at the world. I strive to encourage children's sense of curiosity and wonder and be someone who they can count on for support, kindness, and play.
